I’m Rich, co-host of the Slice of Life Podcast, author, storyteller, and public figure who thrives on helping people feel inspired and valued. At my core, I believe everyone deserves to be reminded of their worth, their story, and the impact they can make. Whether it’s through a podcast episode, a video project, or an event, my mission is simple… to create meaningful connections and elevate voices that deserve to be heard.
I believe life is built on stories, the kind that inspire, connect, and remind us of what truly matters. For nearly 40 years, I have worked as a retail and chamber executive, guiding teams, shaping brands, and creating meaningful experiences. Along the way, I have written, created digital media, and co-founded Elevate Media LLC, where I co-host the Slice of Life podcast with Jay Foreman.
My work is about impact, highlighting others, celebrating everyday significance, and sharing messages that help people see their own value. I have been honored as a two-time Citizen of the Year nominee through the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber, but the recognition that matters most comes from the stories I help tell, the lessons we share, and the laughter and memories that bring us together. Through storytelling, writing, and media creation, I aim to remind people we are all significant and every story has the power to elevate.

Slice of Life Podcast
As co-host of the Slice of Life Podcast, I explore the nostalgia, humor, and lessons of growing up in the 70s and 80s with my friend and business partner, Jay Foreman. Together, we bring back the music, movies, toys, and cultural moments that shaped a generation. But more than that, we remind people of the joy of shared experiences… how one memory can spark another, connecting listeners across ages and backgrounds. Slice of Life isn’t just a podcast… it’s an invitation to laugh, reflect, and celebrate the everyday moments that made us who we are.

Beyond podcasting, I am co-founder of Elevate Media LLC, a company dedicated to storytelling, brand development, and creative digital strategy. Elevate is more than a business, it’s a philosophy. To elevate means to lift others up, to highlight what makes them unique, and to give their message the platform it deserves. Through Elevate Media, I blend creativity and strategy to help businesses, brands, and individuals share their stories with clarity and impact.

I bring with me 40 years of leadership experience, spanning retail, community development, media, and marketing. Over those decades, I’ve learned that leadership isn’t about titles or positions… it’s about people. It’s about showing up consistently, listening, and helping others succeed.
As a public figure, I use my platform to celebrate stories that might otherwise go unnoticed. Whether it’s highlighting a 137-year-old family-owned business, sharing the excitement of a young entrepreneur, or finding humor in the everyday moments of life, I’m committed to creating content that inspires and uplifts.
